An overview of the rise and increasing relevancy of social media in healthcare.  In a post PPACA world the focus on outcomes and preventative medicine is singular.  With latent information, and both passive and active inference ability social media holds a unique place in assessing patients, and determing how best to engage with users.  While HIPAA, and other privacy measure constrain some actions, an evolved postion is coming for social media.
